Our current lineup for the fall. Note that this is as of today -- with House moving around the schedule, Eureka and Jackie Woodman likely to wrap up their seasons by October, and Prison Break due for hiatus around then, figure thing'll change a lot. Plus, I'd be good money that Jericho is the first show on this list to get cancelled. Also, most markets, I believe, will be airing the CW cartoons on Saturdays. Also again, with any of the new shows (as well as The Simpsons), assume that there's the potential for me to drop 'em after two episodes. And yes, I know that new eps of Birdman start later this month; we'll be recording those.

Sunday
10:00 AM: Legion of Superheroes
10:30 AM: The Batman
7 PM: Everybody Hates Chris
8 PM: The Simpsons
9 PM: Desperate Housewives
Late night: Venture Brothers , Robot Chicken, and Metalocalypse.

Monday
8 PM: Prison Break
9 PM: Heroes
10 PM: Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip

Tuesday
8 PM: House or Gilmore Girls (This depends on whether USA continues their pattern of rerunning House. If they don't, Gilmore Girls will lose here).
9 PM: Veronica Mars
10 PM: Smith
11 PM: Eureka

Wednesday
8 PM: Jericho
9 PM: Lost
10 PM: The Nine
Whenever: Mythbusters (I don't even know when Tivo records this one, as there are enough conflicts to require a late-night recording at some point).

Thursday
8 PM: Ugly Betty
9 PM: CSI
10 PM: Shark

Friday
11 PM: Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman

Saturday (Early Sunday, actually):
Midnight: Trinity Blood
12:30AM: Bleach

Note that assorted episodes of Good Eats will be recorded on an as-needed basis, and I'm sure I forgot another show or three along the way (I'll be attempting to keep up with all the new 'toons for SMRT-TV, of course, and I'm sure there's something else on cable that I catch).

Yes, I know that The Wire is wonderful, but until I see the first four seasons, I'm not going out of my way for this one.

I'm figuring out how to add The Class, NCIS, and The unit to my list without missing anything else.. not to mention Greys Anatomy on Thursday. At least when they start airing the new Dr Who eps in October I shouldn't have any trouble fitting them in because 11pm is a fairly easy slot to keep.. Thank you CBC.

Mythbusters keeps getting left to either the late night Wednesday repeat.. or the marathons they have been running Saturdays and sundays lately

I like a show called "Monkey Dust" which appears on Sundance and is, I believe, a Brit made adult oriented cartoon with allusions to Monty Python.

"Dexter" starring Micheal C. Hall is about to appear on HBO about a serial killer who also works for the police in forensics. It looks like it might be interesting...and I really ain't all that much of a TV bug.

I do appreciate your reports.

Where will we get LSH in Atlanta?

(This comment was going to be "will you save the eps of LSH on TiVo for me? before I realized it just might air on broadcast.)

"Yes, I know that The Wire is wonderful, but until I see the first four seasons, I'm not going out of my way for this one."

Do you mean "first three seasons?" They've currently started season 4.

Did you ever watch 'Homicide: Life on the Street?' 'H:LOTS' was one of my favorite shows -- and 'The Wire' improves on it. If you liked the one, you'll definitely like the other.

This summer I've become a big fan of 'The Office' and a medium-sized fan of 'My Name is Earl.' I just watched the 'Earl' Season 1 box and thought that the show improved considerably after the first six episodes.

Oh, and it's very likely that it'll be moving back to 9 pm after September, since Standoff appears to be headed toward the Happy Cancellation Grounds.

Oh SMRT-TV, when shall you return to us?

I should probably ask Liz this question...as soon as she gets back from her wanderings.

Gilmore Girls will lose here, too, which is really strange since for the first five years it was my favorite program on TV. Last season, though, was just sucky.

I have a theory that, when the Paladino's leave a show, they produce some of the worst seasons in the history of TV. They did it with the last season of Roseanne and GG wasn't much better last year. All I wanted to do was slap some sense into both Lorelie and Rory.
