I'd already ordered the first issue of Tamora Pierce's run of White Tiger over at Marvel, if only to see her take on a Bendis-created character.

After reading her thoughts on Sue Storm in Civil War, I'm certain I'll be ordering the rest of her run.

(To be fair, CW is far from the worst handling of Sue. It's not like we're seeing the return of "Cleavage Sue" or anything written from about 1995 until Waid fixed the book.)

Oh, easy. Just like pagent girls, she uses a lot of glue to stick it to her body. That or use the "Unstable molecules cling to flesh better than spandex."

I haven't read CV#4 yet, but my feeling is that Millar's take on Reed is that he's somewhere on the autistic spectrum, probably Asberger's, and an obsessive to boot. Sue knows this, has a lot of experience in dealing with his "condition" (the nature of autism and whether its a disorder or a different kind of adaptation is a different discussion), and she knows he's not really a blood-stained fascist, and this sounds like her extreme attempt to bring him back from his extreme hyper-focus on his current obsession. She actually being the rational one here, and she knows her kids will be safe with him. In her mind, she just needs to get him to re-focus, and he'll be functioning regularly again.

Thats my take on Millar's take, anyway.

*snort*

Did Dave Cockrum or Mike Grell create the "Cleavage Sue" costume?
