Watertown Library
Nov. 9th, 2006 10:24 amI'm jealous of my wife and daughter, as they hit our town's newly-remodeled library yesterday.
Libraries did not offer DVDs or manga when I was a kid.
This is a hell of a lot better than most of the local libraries in Atlanta, as well (not that I don't love the Decatur library, but this blows our previous local ones, Avis Williams and Briarcliff, out of the water).
And walking distance is always a good thing.
And, of course, there's always the main Boston library if we ever need it.
I like it here. :-)
Oh, and it's once again Thai Food Thursday at work. I'll be eating Duck Choo Chee in an hour or so.

Date: 2006-11-09 07:49 pm (UTC)Be glad you're not in Cambridge... our main library is under reconstruction/expansion and will be for some time to come, everything is stored at a nearby school. And our nearest branch to me is inside a parking garage for elderly housing... and has most of it's available books in non-English format only.
