Peter David: I agree with Jon Stewart's assessment. I don't think Bush is dumb; I think he talks to *us* like he thinks *we're* dumb.
I came across the David quote (and am using it instead of the Stewart original since it appears to be a paraphrase) first, and only minutes later, saw that primo example of it above.
