More sale stuff
Nov. 15th, 2006 10:12 amFirst, to reiterate previous posts: Deep Discount DVD's 20% off sale is still on, as are the various Amazon deals.
I turns out that the Veronica Mars sale is a part of a mini-Warner TV sale, with 50% off on all sets of Veronica Mars, The O.C., and Nip/Tuck. Not too shabby.
On the book side of things, Subterranean Press is running a 40% off sale on a bunch of items through this Friday. This includes lots of de Lint , Lansdale, and Brite stuff, as well as some nice pre-orders, and such LJ-friendly names as
matociquala and
wicked_wish. You'll also find other folks like Tim Powers, John Scalzi, and John Crowley in that list. And Amber Benson. Good $Winterholiday shopping choices there (including lots of stuff that I wouldn't turn down; pretty much everything there is something I'd like to own, excluding the few items (the Triskell Takes books) that are already in my library.
And if you're just plain broke, Subterranean and John Scalzi have also made available as a .pdf download the entire issue of Subterranean Magazine #4, the cliche issue. This was edited by Scalzi, and features stories by Nick Sagan, Jo Walton, Allen M. Steele, and others. It would be well worth the money even if you had to pay money for it.
