The MSN Coffeemaker.

Seriously. A coffeemaker that will get a feed (via FM, not WiFI, at least) from MSN and display the weather. Because I sure want to pay more for that feature instead of sitting down with my coffee and looking up the weather online. Or on TV. Or listening to the radio.

It's especially useless if you're not in their coverage area. Which translates to being in one of the top 100 urban markets, but not anywhere else (Athens, GA, for example, is completely excluded, as are huge chunks of the midwest).

On the plus side, I bet it's the first coffeemaker that's capable of catching a virus. And it brings us closer to the glorious machine-revolt reality pictured in the Terminator movies and Maximum Overdrive.

I'm way more scared of a sentient coffeemaker dumping scalding hot espresso on my crotch than a tractor trailer with a lame Green Goblin grill on it. :)

What, the Fossil "SPOT" MSN watch wasn't stupid enough?

Adam, when are you going to learn to think synergistically?

A Terminator or a living Green Goblin grilled truck running on Windows would freeze itself up and not be a problem...
