Assorted Amazon bargains and sales
Nov. 20th, 2006 11:09 amSee this post and this one for more deals (Amazon and otherwise). Note that the Deep Discount DVD sale has been extended through this Thursday.
New sales; $20 off and free shipping when you buy $80 worth of Amazon shoes or clothing. Note that this applies to Amazon-sold stuff, not third-party clothing sold through Amazon (although stuff bought at the shoes.com part of Amazon does appear to qualify). It also is all-or-nothing -- you can't combine shoes and clothing. The free shipping and the $20 together make this a pretty good deal, as Amazon clothing tends to get some decent discounts (and the size selection on clothing and shoes is a lot nicer than in stores).
Amazon's also got the new hardcover edition of Julia Child's The French Chef Cookbook for $9.99, which is actually cheaper (by $2) than the paperback price. If you're going to get food porn, it's hard to beat this.
Amazon DVDs on sale:
Jeff Dunham - Arguing With Myself $6.38 (57% off). Because who doesn't need more ventriloquism in their lives?
The Replacements: $6.47. Not technically a good movie, but it's a guilty pleasure, and it was directed by Howard Deutch.
Lady and the Tramp (2-disc special edition): $14.97 (50% off).
Season 2 of Lost, Desperate Housewives, and Grey's Anatomy: $31.97 (47% off) each.
"Up to 47% off Franchise movies," which seems to be another way to repackage the assorted $7.97 movies, but there are the usual suspects here (Alien, Planet of the Apes, Die Hard)
