Looks like I'm coming down with a cold.

Worse, it's a chest cold.

Head colds can be fun. You can waste entire boxes of kleenex, and you talk real funny, so there's lots of of amusement value.

Chest colds just suck.

The funnest thing about a head cold is how sinus pressure shifts can make you stoned without a single drug.

I second the Mucinex recommendation. And if you get the sinus issues, the Mucinex in the red box (available at your local pharmacy counter) is excellent. Also those Vicks Shower Soother thingies are very nice for clearing up breathing passages of all sort.

Feel better. These things can get ugly quickly (and turn into pneumonia! joy!), so take it easy and drink fluids and all of that good stuff.
