yendiThis blog post on the issues involved for a Muslim in low-earth orbit needing to determine the direction of Mecca is fascinating by itself (and, obviously, it's more of an issue for those in orbit -- when different directions face different parts of Earth -- than from other galaxies, when one must simply determine the direction of the Milky Way).
But I'm amused by the fact that it took all of six comments before someone brought up Babylon 5.
