Thanks to a combination of no internet access at home and the need to travel down to Cape Cod for the funeral of 'song's uncle (where I bore my first pall), I've been away from Teh Intarwebs since late Friday. I'm not overly inclined to play catch-up tonight, to be honest, so I suspect that anything that occurs before tomorrow will reside off my radar.

Likewise, expect me to start posting again tomorrow (which is either a threat or a promise).

And now, to offer to lighten things...

...I point you to me-links you could look at, should you be in the mood. (I'd understand if you weren't.)

My postings this weekends included:

* A transcript of the 1980s Casey Kasem profanity-laden rave-out (the one used on Negativland's song "U2");
* The Kazakhstan National Anthem; and
* The East German National Anthem, a la ZAZ (you should be able to guess what I'm talking about)...

that is to say, I actually made reviews for both movies. I haven't given a review for being pregnant yet. Once it stops being "a tragic tale of a woman ravaged by nausea" and starts turning into my usual wacky action-adventure tales, I'll write it up.
