Okay, it probably helps that I'm not much of a Tolkien fan, and I'm generically inclined to snark when it comes to his stuff, but, well, the "new" Tolkien work being released today? It's title?

The Children of Húrin.

Without the accent mark, I probably wouldn't be bothered. But with it? I'm sorry, but I can't say the title without silencing the "H" as they do in French and Spanish.

So now I'm picturing a book featuring a whole bunch of elves made of urine, sort of like a much, much grosser version of Mucus Tick.

And I want to know if a sequel will be unearthed called The Children of Pheecis.

(And yes, I know that the name was in some of his previous works, and it's a longstanding part of his mythos but that doesn't make it any better.)
