261 Days of horror: an apology/administrivia

As some of you might have noticed, I didn't post a review on Friday. The simple reason is this: I fucked up. I let myself get burnt out, and just lost my writing mojo this weekend.

My original intent was to get two reviews written today. That won't happen, although #85 (Friday's review) will be up later today.

What will happen is this: By Friday, all 90 reviews will be up. I might double up tomorrow, or on Friday. And I'll spend enough time this coming weekend watching the movies to give myself more writing time during the week.

No excuses here -- I dropped the ball.

Hey, this is a HOBBY PROJECT for you. Yes, you should push yourself to do it, because it's cool. But you shouldn't stress too much about it, and definitely not beat yourself up about it, because this is something you're doing because it's cool and fun.

I mean, yeah, keep doing it, because I'm really enjoying reading them, but make sure that doing these things is a net positive in your life. Don't let it be a source of Bad Shit To You.

Hey hon, this is supposed to be a good, happy, fun thing you're doing. If it's stressing you out, the good, the happy and the fun go away. At least for you.

I *like* the reviews very much, but don't want them at your detriment.
