David Halberstam, R.I.P.

David Halberstam has died in a car accident.

I devoured his books when I was in high school (particularly The Powers that Be), and continued to read them during college and beyond. Damn.

I got to meet him last year at a bookseller tradeshow and wanted to introduce him to my husband this year.

I'm still processing his loss.
