kradical, George Lucas thinks that Spider-Man 3 (which I haven't seen, in fairness) is lame: "It's silly. It's a silly movie. There just isn't much there. Once you take it all apart, there's not much story, is there?"
Fortunately, George has shown a clear understanding of what makes a good story. He's done so as recently as the late '70s.
