Lots of pre-Upfronts news:

Scrubs is back (officially)!

As are Medium, Law & Order, and Friday Night Lights (which I've never watched, but I know it has the classic "low ratings, vocal fanbase" problem).

Criminal Intent is getting moved to USA? Fine by me, as it'll likely be easier to Tivo without conflicts.

As for new shows, Chuck sounds like a Freakazoid! rip-off, but not as funny. Life, Journeyman, and The IT Crowd have potential on paper, at least. No interest in The Lipstick Jungle.

And the Bionic Woman made the fall slate! Yay! Even though it'll likely suck (I'm not expecting a BSG-like update of a cheesy '70s property here), I'll watch at least one episode.

So, Crossing Jordan and Studio 60 are pretty goners...figures as much, but still that Monday at 10 looks to be quite the hot potato as nobody really wants to take responsibility for neither the success nor failure of any shows aired during that time...pity :-/

I am so thrilled that Scrubs is back for one more season. If NBC was going to let it just drop off the face of the earth this season, I was going to be so sad.

Presuming it's not a remake, IT Crowd is a bit hit and miss - some parts are screamingly funny, and others... aren't. I'd be amazed if you couldn't find a torrent for it.

The IT Crowd is a remake of a british show. Like all shows are now. I haven't seen either version, but a friend of mine plays the main girl in the NBC version.
