1. Thanks to Readercon, expect yesterday and today's reviews sometime this weekend. Yesterday's will probably make it up sometime today (it's a review of a classic, and thus requires less of that time-consuming snark), but today's will take more work.

2. Readercon, so far, is made of awesome. shadesong and I had an unexpected dinner last night with rosefox, sinboy, matociquala, and Greer Gilman, whose LJ name I should know, but don't (and Google is no help). We also attended a nice panel on the "Real Year" and whether it still (or ever) applied to SF criticism. Barry Malzberg alone was worth attending the panel to watch.

2.5 The "unexpected" part of the last sentence was the company, not the dinner. I mean, we walked into a restaurant, so we kinda expected food.

2.7 Although in light of the service, that was probably a high bar for the expectations.

3. My wife is, once again, doing Blogathon, this time for the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center. Go read why, and sponsor her if you can afford to.
