(And yes, I get that San Diego is The Big Event, and has been pretty much overwhelmed by movies, TV, and games in the last few years. But it's still a fucking comic convention. And, based on the news reports I've seen, there's been a ton of movie-related stuff, anyway.)

Date: 2007-07-29 08:13 pm (UTC)Next year I already know I have a press pass and so that's one big thing sorted out. Plus I got to network with some of the comic writers I wanted to network with. So me being sick and without an assistant and having to fly home two days early wasn't a total loss.
