Amazon: Yet another huge TV on DVD sale, plus some German movies

Amazon is having a huge (264 item) Primetime Emmy DVD Sale. Almost everything is at 45% off or more (some sets, like Buffy, are at 60% off). Since, thanks to assorted technical categories, just about every show ever has won an Emmy, there's a lot of good stuff here, including Babylon 5, The Office, Rome, The Simpsons, WKRP, House, Northern Exposure, Soap, Seinfeld, Arrested Development, Monk, Law and Order: SVU, assorted HBO miniseries, Millennium, Time Tunnel, Huff, M*A*S*H, Murder One, and Angel.

It's almost enough to justify the existence of the Emmy Awards.

Almost.

And for those who want to go more highbrow, there's a mini-sale on German movies. Only seven items, but that includess 43% discounts on Run, Lola, Run, Faraway, So Close, and Blind Spot - Hitler's Secretary.

Yup! I am debating if I should go for Babylon5 S1 or not. On the one hand, first season. On the other, not as good as future seasons....

*nod* If the show weren't as narrative-driven, you could ignore Season 1 completely, but that's like tearing out the expository first fifth of a good book.
