D'oh!

Makes you wonder if Caesar's last words were a question or a threat.

Okay, this might indicate I'm a sick and twisted person...but that totally made my day.

The Royal Shakespeare Company brings its Stratford season to Newcastle every year, so we get a six-week season of intensive drama, with the same actors playing two or three roles over the season.

Handsome young man, first show of the season, wearing eye-patch. Cute.

Same young man, another play, another role - eye-patch. Is this a directorial quirk?

Same young man, third production, eye-patch. Questions asked. Unfortunate incident during performance back at Stratford, knife in eye. Bloody lucky not to lose eye, apparently. But the costume lady was very keen to stress, he wore different eye-patches in each play, appropriate to general design...

"Then fall Caesar"?

I can't see that as a threat.
