yendiThat copy of The Wilds I needed to sell to help cover Max's vet bills? Put it on Amazon at a much higher price than I was selling it for here, and it was bought in less than 24 hours (which probably means the price was too low, but I couldn't afford to let an eBay auction cycle go by). Yay!
Alas, it cost over $25 to mail it (Amazon's reimbursement is only $12.49). The only cheaper option (which still cost over $12) didn't offer any chance of insurance or tracking, and there's no way I'm shipping a valuable book overseas without those options. Annoying, but a lesson learned. I'll no longer offer the international shipping option when selling through Amazon.
And even with that hit, the book made enough money to cover Max's bill.
