Elayna and I spent a good chunk of the day at the Watertown Faire on the Square. It was quite fun, but it also involved (once all was said and done) way more walking than I realized. Back-and-forth walking. For all intents and purposes, think of the way your legs feel at the end of the day after a con. Yeah.

And, of course, it was actually warm today. And (naturally) we walked there and back.

I was asleep about ten minutes after we got home this afternoon. My feet still hurt.

As far as what we actually did at the Faire, Elayna spent her time with her friends, climbing rock walls, eating way too much sugar, watching dance performances and martial arts demos, and having fun. I entered every contest and drawing around, ate good food, and generally had fun. I also grabbed two more rabbit-fur mice for the kitties to lose under the couch. And, of course, we had to hit the library on the way home.

I do know the feeling. I pulled an 11+ hour shift at the restaurant yesterday. I got over to [livejournal.com profile] vivvianne1's place yesterday, and 5 minutes into her working on my back, I was out cold.
