I always wonder why they bother with this sort of thing. HD DVD has been cracked. So has Blue Ray. So has the iPhone. So has Netflix On Demand. I can't help but wonder why these people keep trying DRM and DRM-type technologies, when they KNOW it's going to be cracked very shortly. And the more difficult the content producers make it to acquire the content legitimately, the more folks will turn to illicit methods.
Yeah, the NHL needs to limit the viewers because they are so friggin' popular. That's why they don't have a network contract and most of their games are on the vs. network which is somewhere around 74th most popular cable network.
