Mid-Week Amazon Deals
Nov. 29th, 2007 08:21 am(Previous, and frankly better, deals are here.)
Amazon's added two more DVD sales:
The Religious DVD Sale, not surprisingly, doesn't excite me all that much. It's got 40-47% off a bunch of discs, including Hawaii, David and Bathsheba, The Bishop's Wife, and Babette's Feast. But I'm impressed that someone at Amazon managed to slip Patricia Arquette's Stigmata into the mix.
There's also the "overlooked gems" sale, with eight decent movies at 43% off, including The TV Set, Day Watch, and the movie I've been dying to see for ages, David Arquette's The Tripper, featuring an axe-wielding maniacal Ronald Reagan (or, as I like to think of it, featuring a much less harmful Reagan than the one we had to deal with in real life).
Finally, Ocean's Thirteen is down to $16.99 (41% off). Ignore the three-star rating. It's a damned fun popcorn movie, and almost makes up for Ocean's Twelve.
