[livejournal.com profile] curt_holman points to a list of great movies that come in at under 80 minutes (not counting true shorts).

A better film than Chopping Mall (if you can accept the notion that such things exist) left of the list is The Leopard Man, which comes in at 65 minutes.

(Both links point to my 261DoH reviews from last year, btw).

Not sure I agree that Dumbo really is better than Ratatouille. I've always found the former a little underwhelming, although I might be blaming the lame Magic Kingdom ride for part of my dislike.

Positively flabby! Heart of the World (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0260948/) is only six minutes. ^_^ (And a remarkably intense time it is, too)

I'd lean towards Ratatouille, definitely. Not to diminish Dumbo, but Pixar excelled the genre; though perhaps it had a head start, given my fondness for matters culinary.
