It's a cop show! With initials!

On the one hand, it's easy to be jaded about S.I.S., the new pilot and potential series on Spike. It's a cop show, and is likely designed to grab some of the audience who already watch C.S.I. and N.C.I.S. on the network. And the plot -- an assistant chief in the L.A.P.D. heading an elite squad sounds not dissimilar from another hit cable cop show.

But it stars Keith David. So I'm there.

I just accepted an interview with Bentley College. I know you work at a college in Boston, and was wondering if you knew anything about Bentley.

You'd think I would, since I work at the other higher ed institute of note in the same town as Bentley, but all I really know is that it's got a pretty campus from the outside, and I pass it on my way to Costco.

I have always wanted to move to Boston! My grandma grew up in Jamaica Plains, and my family lives in Braintree.

My spouse, not so excited. But I keep telling him there are nerdy people there--so much more nerdy and better than Kansas. :( He is a HUGE superhero/videogame/ect... nerd.

Besides, Boston>Chicago (where he wants to move back to).
