I haven't sorted out how I felt about the first book, which I was really enjoying until the ending, which made me go WTF? So I'm on the one hand glad for a chance at the story being resolved ina way that is emotionally satisfying as well as well-plotted. On the other, I am thinking "what if it's just the same and leaves me feeling dissatisfied?" And I think probably I ought to re-read Singer before I read the new one. Cos I want to love it, cos it's Adam.

I am made of epic fail.

What I wonder is: how did you miss being a contestant in the bacon-eating contest that was described in the Globe today (Sidekick section)? :)
