R.I.P., the guy who invented the Egg McMuffin

Herb Peterson, the guy who invented the Egg McMuffin, has died.

At least a few of the extra pounds I'm carrying are due to his invention (and the assorted spin-offs, like the Egg McMuffin with Sausage).

Ah, but Egg McMuffin with Sausage can be responsible for weight LOSS. Because of the pooping. Because of how far they are from anything resembling food...

I pondered, briefly, getting an Egg McMuffin in his memory. But given that I too am carrying some extra poundage because of his products, and that I just yesterday bought a metric schwackload of healthy stuff, I must needs forbear.
