Since I've spent much of the afternoon with the headphones on while composing MySQL queries, I've hit a fair chunk of my iTunes database. Here's a block of fifteen of them. You know the rules here: Name the artist and song, and don't use Google or other search engines (really -- growing the size of your e-penis isn't worth it). Naturally, I'm skipping instrumentals, mashups,, and anime material here. I'm also skipping repeats artists, even if iTunes puts two songs by the same artist in one fifteen-song block. Assume that all songs are the originals (not covers).

Wow. That's some set of obscurity you've got there.

The only one which pops to mind is #12: "The Weird Al Show" theme song. By Weird Al Yankovic, of course.

(And I'm pretty sure you misspelled "Doc Martens" in #10.)

Oh, duh! #13 is "Rock Lobster", by the B-52s!

[livejournal.com profile] hangingfire already got #2.

Now #7 can just bug me for a while. I will not figure it out until "I Just Died In Your Arms Tonite" gets out of my head.

Is #4 _Three Steps_ by Lynyrd Skynyrd? (Feel free to laugh a whole lot if that's utterly off-base.)

The only reason I remember the lyric is because I remember pulling out the liner notes to make sure that I'd heard it right.
