And a cringe. Caitlin R. Kiernan (greygirlbeast) published one book with them and was horrified at it getting published not only with mistakes she had caught in editing, but with more mistakes added after her last pass through the manuscript.
Yeah, that's pretty much par for the course. I stopped giving them money after picking up Keith Hartman's second novel, and not only seeing my own blurbed review mangled, but seeing sudden changes in typeface mid-paragraph throughout the book. It was like they thought that typesetting and vodka were inextricably linked together.
