Doesn't surprise me since Allred is, too...
Did you know Mike Allred also did a Book of Mormon comic for a while that even made the mainstream news here in the State of Confusion (a.k.a. the Home of Mormonism)...

I knew Allred was but I never connected him to actually giving former assassin Zane the identity of a Mormon.
That just doesn't really fit.
