Attempting any exercise that involves standing on only one leg will cause at least one cat to come over and attempt to "help."

Merlin likes to "help" me with push-ups. And Cruiser always likes to give encouragement. So I keep a door between me and them.

Oh man. I have to quarantine the puppy in order to do any exercise at all. Yoga and pushups are the worst with him trying to "help" all over my legs and face. :)

I hear you.

I found out a long time ago that any exercise that required me to lay on the floor resulted in at least one cat coming over to see if I was down there to play. And then at least one other would come over to see what was up.

I have not had that problem.

Once the white platform comes out, the cats either leave the room or ensconce themselves into a safe corner to watch.

I do not know where this fear comes from, as they aren't afraid of anything else. Well, except the claw clippers, but I don't see any overlap.
