And the MP3 Deal of the Day is the Lucinda Williams album Car Wheels on a Gravel Road for $1.99!

Both deals expire today. Both are very worth getting if you don't already own them (and have the money to spare).

Because I'm an idiot, I need to ask: if I buy something from the MP3 store at Amazon, can I import it into iTunes to send to my iPod, or is it Apple-unfriendly?

It works fine with iTunes -- in fact, the Amazon download gadget will plop it there automatically (and when you install it, they'll give you a free song -- from a band no one's heard of, mind you -- to verify it).
