The Asus Ee PC 4G is going for $257.20 (27% off). I tend to question whether limited-time deals on items like this really work (I can't speak for others, but while I might occasionally have $15 for an impulse buy, $250 is pretty serious money).
That said, even a factory reconditioned 5-quart Kitchenaid mixer at $160.64 (57% off) would be tempting if we hadn't gotten one as a wedding gift.
In the TV on DVD area, you can get any of the first four seasons of Nip/Tuck for $14.95 a pop (although for some reason, the combined pack of 1-4 is still going for $172.99). That's 75% off.
For those who like their comedy slightly less gruesome, you can get any season of Gilmore Girls for $14.99 each (75% off), as well.

By giving them a bit of savings, they grab something they know they wanted and can afford at that price, but who might think through the purchase with more time and care if it were the original, what, $350?
