Only five, but anything that allows me to close some tabs is worth the time.

1. Sarah Beth Durst's latest "Obscure Fairy Tale" is Thumbelina. No, it's not really obscure, but her writeup is still funny.

2. Google admits that Lively was a bad idea, poorly implemented. And kills it off (okay, they don't actually admit it, but they still kill it off).

3. The Beeb on the history of Dr. Who. Also here.

4. Hill Harper went to law school with Barack Obama? Who knew? (Incidentally, last week's episode of CSI:NY was the only one I've seen this year, as Dirty Sexy Money is simply a better show. That said, I was very happy with what they did with Flack, who's probably my favorite character on the show).

5. Finally, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade just got a whole lot better, as it will contain 100% fewer Cheetah Girls! Hooray for leaked naughty photos. Now if only someone can find a way to leak naughty photos of Miley Cyrus, Trace Adkins, and Pikachu.

I assume the lewd and lascivious pictures already exist. (I've seen one of another Pokemon. I don't remember how I came across it, except that it was not on purpose. I do remember immediately going for the brain bleach.)
