ABC isn't picking up Dirty Sexy Money and Pushing Daisies.

For the record, I'll be getting my copies of Desperate Housewives, Lost, Samantha Who, Ugly Betty, and Scrubs off Bittorrent. Not getting my Tivo blip to add to your stats. Yeah, it's not much, but it's about the only statement I can make.

Interestingly, I've seen more commercials for all of those shows I'll be downloading (well, other than Scrubs) than I've seen for either PD or DSM.

Actually, the statement you're making is, "I'm willing to take money away from the writers and actors who work on these other shows that have nothing to do with Dirty Sexy Money and Pushing Daisies."

You want to make a statement, wait to buy them on DVD -- or buy them from iTunes. Then you don't screw the creative people on those other ABC shows, but you don't help the network as much, either.

With the exception of Samantha Who (which I'm already unable to watch or record without teh interwebs, as it's against Heroes), there's not one on that list I could conceivably hurt (Scrubs is in its last year). At risk of sounding like a 2000 Floridian voting for Nader, it's a statement, that's all.
