EGM to follow PC World?

And now Ziff-Davis is considering shuttering EGM, as well. That'd be a shame, as 1up is a wasteland of bad design and annoying thirteen-year-old boys, while the magazine occasionally has an interesting preview or two.

Also, the article mistakenly claims that ZD shut down its last game magazine earlier this year. As far as I'm concerned, they did that back in '06, when they changed CGW into "Game for Windows." That wasn't a gaming magazine. It was a Microsoft vanity project. And a crappy one.

Yeah, this is a big deal in our house as Daddy Bear is Ziff's publicist.
Ziff over-expanded. Now, they are contracting.

There might not be anything left soon for him to get publicity for.

Ouch! Yeah, that's a little scary. I've noticed that their enterprise events seem to be dwindling, too (not surprising, as I can't imagine as many companies can afford or justify the events).
