Beginning of week linkdump
Dec. 1st, 2008 09:33 am1. Roger Ebert on the death of the movie critic.
2. One Velociraptor Per Child! Best educational innovation in years (ganked from
lagringa).
3. Listen to a movie. Audio tracks (occasionally with commentary) of tons of movies.
4. This Questionable Content is me. And everyone I know.
5. Graffiti-laden Twilight poster. Contains spoilers (mostly accurate) for the book, and some obscenities.
6. Highlander Successories (link ganked from Chris_Walsh). 'nuff said.
7. Michael Shermer on why we see (and believe) strange patterns.
8. I meant to post this a while back, but Missi Pyle (who steals scenes in everything she's in, but does so especially well on The Sarah Silverman Show, Pushing Daisies, and In Plain Sight, and in movies like Josie and the Pussycats, Galaxy Quest, and Dodgeball) and Shawnee Smith (who was wonderful in the remake of The Blob, and is one of many fine actors to waste her talents in the Saw movies) have a folk music band.
9. Tim O'Reilly on why he loves Twitter.
10. Finally, as noted by Desperance, yams and bacon, together in perfect harmony. Yes, I'll be trying this one sometime in the near future.
