Pownce gets Pounced

6A has bought Pownce, and is shutting them down.

Not a huge surprise -- I don't think I'd logged into Pownce in nearly a year, and I'd never really created any content there -- but it'll be interesting to see if 6A tries to do something in the microblogging space.

Is that all 6A does? By blogging networks and destroy them in some way?

Don't be silly. They also build useless blogging networks like Vox.

And tell those destroyed networks to use Vox! It's a genius plan to force people into using vox, though.
