Quick Update
Dec. 8th, 2008 07:55 amHave eaten more food in the last four days than I did in all of September. I suspect that muumuus and sweatpants are now my only fashion choices.
Wedding was beautiful and long. Rabbi compared my sister-in-law to Delilah in his blessing. I managed to not crack up. More details later.
We're hitting the road in about an hour, to eat one last meal down here, then to hit the airport. There has been stress, but there's been a lot less than we expected.

Date: 2008-12-08 03:27 pm (UTC)Hey, Adam, changing the subject, Voodoo Doughnut got some screentime on last night's Amazing Race finale. The contestants got a clue outside the shop. (They didn't have time to go inside and have a doughnut. Boo.) I wrote about the episode, the only TAR I've watched, because I like seeing Portland used as a location.
The contestants were told that Voodoo Doughnut is next to "a cinema." They weren't told it's a porn theater. Good thing none of them accidentally detoured inside the theater. Or maybe they did, and that was edited out for television... ;-)
