If the paramedics are taking a dead body away from the crime scene, they will not put the sirens and lights on. Because once the body is dead, it's not an emergency any more. At least, not the sort that requires other cars to pull over.

Currently watching Return to Sleepaway Camp, which makes the mistake at about the 34-minute mark. I suspect I've already caught the twist, but it's still fun so far. Real review to follow tomorrow or later this week.

Or picture this, something I once saw: an ambulance pulled up to an apartment complex, lights on and staying on as the EMTs went into the building, and the lights stayed on until they brought out a body. They'd kept the lights on just so that no one would drive into the ambulance while they were in the building. The lights turned off right after they took the wheel.

THAT really drove home the finality of it.

In non-life-or-death news: Another [livejournal.com profile] yendi movie review? This indeed makes me smile.
