1. I know she's criminally underused, but I'm still sad to hear that Ashley Jensen is leaving Ugly Betty. Maybe she can switch over to Eleventh Hour and make it almost as interesting as the original was.

2. The Whole Earth Catalogs are online! The assorted Co-Evolution Quarterly/Whole Earth Reviews are there, too. Free to read, pay to download. Note that the site is slow and not all that well-designed.

3. Youtube now has a Quick Capture option supporting webcams (including my built-in one). Roll your own direct-to-Youtube podcasts and rants! This might have been around for a while, but I only just discovered it.

4. Andy Richter Rules the Universe is finally coming to DVD! This actually kills one topic for the "we want it on DVD" panel I'm on at Arisia this weekend. It's a sacrifice I'm okay with.

5. Finally, here's how Porsche hacked the financial system (and shafted Volkswagen in the process).

I don't even watch Ugly Betty and I'm sorry to see Ashley Jensen leave. She's both awesome and adorable. I hope this leads to bigger and better things for her.

I worked with Irene Molloy's father when she was doing this series and used to hear a few stories from the set. It sounded like they had a lot of fun.

I guess Irene is strictly trying to be a singer now.
