I was squeeing when I saw that. The thought crossed my mind after I read the book that it deserved the medal, but I never thought it would win! Like he wrote, "honors book" is what I figured it would get.

To win... that's pretty huge.

*nod* There are so many good books in a given year (and honestly, I'd say that Nation was a little better than TGG), and even with reviewing and keeping up with Elayna's world, I can't pretend to be aware of everything that's out there. I really hadn't figured that Neil was a likely winner at all.
