Brett Ratner will be directing the Youngblood movie!

This might be the most fantastically godawful thing to emerge from Hollywood since Frank Miller's take on The Spirit, but here there's not even any good source material to fall back on. I expect it to be one of the most MST3Kable films ever.

Mind you, I'd rather see something good come out of Hollywood, but if they insist on making crap, at least they can make crap I can laugh at (if not with).

Now watch, in the face of all odds and sense it will become the greatest movie ever made.

Or at least the greatest movie since Manos, The Hands of Fate.

"The Indian media conglom has acquired Rob Liefeld’s iconic graphic novel Youngblood for Brett Ratner to direct."

Iconic: You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Perhaps "laconic"? It means, "lazy", which describes Liefeld's approach to writing character . . .

Wow, just wow.

What the hell will the plot line be? I can't recall there being writing of any sort.

I'm just wondering how they'll design the characters with disproportionately small heads and guns way too big for any human to hold.
