yendiSigh. The Mets released Sanchez yesterday. He was one of my favorites on the team before he went down with his injury in '06, and I'd really hoped to see him back in top form.
And, of course, this doesn't exactly make me feel too good about the state of the 'pen (especially before the eighth inning).
