Well, there's Sluggy Freelance, of course.Hands down, my favorite comic, and the only one I read daily. If you like funny stories involving nerds, mad scientists, ferrets, aliens, and killer bunny rabbits, this is the strip for you.
Other faves include 8-Bit Theater, which is a nifty idea -- the author uses sprites from the original Final Fantasy to tell a damned funny tale. Definitely worth it if you're a video game person, especially an old-school one. Some major laughs.
On a parallel plane, there's Adventurers!, another one that looks at the quirks of RPGs in general.
The only comic I've been reading for as long as Sluggy is Kevin and Kell, a comic that's much sharper than it looks at first (don't let the cute animals fool you). It's also by a local (by Atlanta standards, at least) guy, Bill Holbrook.
The two other comics that I've bought collections of from Plan 9 (aside from K&K and Sluggy) are Bruno the Bandit and Ozy and Millie. Both are damned funny (and feature dragons), but I'm way behind on both.
I'm also reading Megatokyo, which I'm caught up on, mainly due to the fact that the creators have been known to fall behind every once in a while. :-) And I've started on Goats and the utterly weird ?, but I don't hit them with any regularity (I need to free up a chunk of time to do so, as if).
Anyway, that's what I find funny online. and yes, I know there are other things I should read online. But more comics means fewer LiveJournals, after all.
