:-( They started charging for the nifty new coffee machine. $.50 for regular drinks, $.75 for Capps and Mochas.

Interesting. They've announced the new artist on Supergirl, and it's Ed Benes. He's done a decent job on Gen13, but even under Adam Warren, that series has always been a chance to do lots of pin-ups. Supergirl is probably the single most intelligent series being published under either of the Big 2's main imprints. Should be interesting watching him have to change his style slightly to handle all the "normal" looking characters.

Just finished speaking to fifteen faculty and grad students on techniques for online communication Spent over an hour. Did a fucking kick-ass job. I feel drained. I'm getting coffee now.

Okay, so it's pretty easy (as a paid user) to figure out how to create a Friends page that doesn't show userpics. But none of my friends have userpics that I feel uncomfortable having up at the cube farm. The thing is, some people who post in the comments section of friends of mine do. And I can't find a way to say "don't view friendpics" for the Read Comments pages. Anyone know if it's possible? The idea of not being able to read comments on a friend's page just because someone else used a risque icon does not appeal. :-(

Last week's Time had an article on Veggietales with the headline, "Finding God in a Pickle." :-)
