So I'm home cleaning right now. Officially, I'm working from home, so whenever any email comes in at the work account, I'm handling it, but in the meantime, I'm going through my t-shirt collection and being brutal about weeding stuff out. The drawers of my dresser will close by 10:00, this I swear. But I probably won't be around on LJ much, for those who will miss me (ha!).

And in the meantime, I have iTunes set to nothing but '80s music. I'll be damned if I won't enjoy myself a little bit while I'm tossing t-shirts I love.

LJ won't allow more than ten choices in a poll, so I'm just posting these in a message -- post your choices in the reply. Note that the list doesn't include Iron Monkey (since we're already going to watch that), any films made outside of HK studios (Rush Hours, etc), and the films that I know I have, but can't find (SuperCop, Young Dragons :-( )
A Better Tomorrow -- Classic John Woo/Chow Yun Fat
A Chinese Ghost Story -- the Tsui hark animation -- Lots of fun, and less disturbing than the non-animated flick.
Big Bullet -- Cop/gangster movie
Black Cat -- La Femme Nikita, HK-style. Wit Jade Leung and Simon Yam.
City on Fire -- Ringo Lam/Chow Yun Fat. Resevoir Dogs, done right the first time.
Enter the Dragon -- Um, duh? Bruce Lee.
Enter the Fat Dragon -- Sammo Hung, exactly what it sounds like.
Expect the Unexpected -- Probably Simon Yam's second best film (alas, I don't have Full Contact yet)
First Strike -- Jackie Chan - has the classic ladder fight.
Fist of Legend -- Jet Li. American release
Fong Sai Yuk -- Jet Li classic -- has an awesome fight scene, and some funny moments.
Future Cops -- Really bizarre Street Fighter pastiche
Half a Loaf of Kung Fu -- Early Jackie Chan.
Hard Boiled -- Guns. Lots of Guns. And then more guns. A gunfight that lasts over forty minutes. Woo, Lee, Yun-Fat.
High Risk -- A damned funny Jet Li movie -- basically, a HK version of Die Hard, with a parody of Jackie Chan tossed in.
Legend of Drunken Master -- American release of the classic DM2
Look Out, Officer -- The second best Stephen Chow flick (behind From Bejeing, With Love). Funny.
Magnificent Warriors -- Michelle Yeoh in an adventure/action movie
Millionaire's Excpres -- Sammo Hung directed and starred -- sort of a western martial arts movie; also has Richard Norton, Cynthia Rothrock, and Yuen.
Mr. Nice Guy -- Jackie Chan -- some damned good fight scenes (Hong Kong versiion)
Mr. Vampire -- Hong Kong's answer to Army of Darkness -- this is the second funniest horror movie ever made, imho.
My Lucky Stars -- Jackie, Yuen, and Sammo in a slapstick movie (first in a long series)
New Fist of Fury -- Weak Jackie Chan flick
Once a Thief -- Woo/Chow Yun Fat/Leslie Chung -- damned fine caper film
Once Upon a Time in China -- The Classic -- Jet Li's best, imho.
Once Upon a Time in China 2 -- Also Jet Li, still fun
Once Upon a Time in China 3 -- Ditto.
Picture of a Nymph -- supernatural thriller/erotica
Spiritual Kung Fu -- Older Jackie movie.
The Black Mask -- Jet Li's superhero movie (american release)
The Bride With White Hair -- One of the true classics -- a historical fantasy of love and war.
The Heroic Trio -- Michelle Yeoh, Anita Mui, and Maggie Chung as heroes in a dark future
The Untold Story -- Really disturbing crime piece with Anthony Wong -- essentially the HK version of Silence of the Lambs.
The Young Master -- Jackie Chan -- one of his best roles
To Kill with Intrigue -- Another older Jackie flick
Wheels on Meals -- My second favorite Martial Arts movie; Jackie and Yuen run a catering van, with Sammo as a bumbling cop, all set in Barcelona.
Wonder Seven -- Michelle Yeoh as a government agent
Yes Madam! -- Michelle Yeoh and Cynthia Rothrock, in a cop/buddie flick

Okay, so I didn't find Supercop. But I found the Supercop soundtrack. And it's a kick-ass one to clean to, even though I skip the rap half of it. But any album with RftC's On a Rope, No Doubt's "Open the Gate," two Devo songs (including a cover of "Head Like a Hole") is worth listening to.

The trailer for Chamber of Secrets is up! And it looks great (other than the fact that poor Ron is so clearly hitting puberty)! http://harrypotter.warnerbros.com/web/dailyprophet/article.jsp?id=COS_First_Trailer
