Sigh. So I went to put on my size 36 Dockers, and lo and behold, they dont' fit.

Okay, I knew I was gaining weight and pigging out too often, but I really didn't need to have this happen.

For the record, my size 36 Eddie Bauers fit but are tight. My size 36 Structures fit nicely, but are dirty.

The short-term solutions is to buy more Structures, of course. :-)

Long-term, hello weight-watchers.

So, our intern comes up to me and asks if anything is wrong with LearnLink. I'm logged on, as are 500 people, so I say no. We look at his account, and it's refusing to let him log in, reporting that the object no longer exists. I get the same error when I check his account through the admin console. So something is corrupt. And there are at least fifteen other accounts that are hosed.

Shit. This is not good.

On the plus side, I can worry more about the EOL project and other stuff, at least, since our tech services folks are the ones who have to deal with this sucker right now.

As shitty days go, this is approaching the shittiest. Just shoot me now and get it over with.

Thanks

For the sake of my own emotional turmoil, I'm not going to respond to each comment just yet -- I'm just going to let them digest. But I've read all of them (as well as the one's in response to [livejournal.com profile] shadesong). And I can't tell you how much I love and appreciate all of you.

And, like 'song, I seem to gain friends when there's drama (though not as many as 'song, of course). :-) Welcome to [livejournal.com profile] olliesmama!

Wow.

I'm gone for a few hours, and I come back to ten more comments in my mailbox, two new friends (welcome, [livejournal.com profile] ariedana and [livejournal.com profile] karmaryllis!), and 25 messages on my friends page. So I'll take the intertia route and deal with almost none of it until tomorrow, because our comics guy finally sent the comics from two months ago, and although I'm caught up on Fables and Suicide Squad now, I've got lots of other things to read.

But, for those wondering, 8-Legged Freaks is damned fun, in a Tremors-esque way. David Arquette redeems himself for his run in WCW, but still has some 1-800-CALL-ATT stuff to atone for.
