So, our intern comes up to me and asks if anything is wrong with LearnLink. I'm logged on, as are 500 people, so I say no. We look at his account, and it's refusing to let him log in, reporting that the object no longer exists. I get the same error when I check his account through the admin console. So something is corrupt. And there are at least fifteen other accounts that are hosed.

Shit. This is not good.

On the plus side, I can worry more about the EOL project and other stuff, at least, since our tech services folks are the ones who have to deal with this sucker right now.

You have my sympathies. That sucks so bad, and I am so glad you don't have to deal with it. Our tech guy is on vacation for 2 weeks, and I keep cringing every time someone goes into PLATO or WebCT. We've had problems with corrupt accounts on both of those recently, and the thought of having to go through that again without dumping some of it on the tech guy makes me want to ball.
