So, amidst the ton of emails, I take a look at the one confirming my presentation for the Theology students this Thursday. It contains the following line:

You will be presenting an Introduction to Learnlink on Thursday, August 29 in two 50-minutes segments in Bishops Hall 311 at 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm.

Umm. Dude. This gives me just over 48 hours to acquire time manipulation powers (or the ability to create duplicates of myself; maybe I'm really from Carggg, and just don't know it yet).

A note to anyone who has too much of a sense of self as a result of having "earned" a PhD:

I'll call you "Dr. Whatever" when you call me "Mr. Lipkin."

But if you call me by my first name, I'll do the same to you.

That's all. Thank you. Drive through.

On the other hand, sending an email starting with "Oh great and wondrous one" is a damned good way to get to the front of my queue (not kidding, either -- I just got an email with exactly that quote from an Anthro prof).

And, my mailbox has dropped below 500 messages! This is a double miracle, as at least a few hundred have come in in each of the last two days.
